13. Fourth floor
This floor was once occupied by different departments of the local Workers’ Party’s headquarters; often changing their locations, these were e.g. the General Department, Research and Teaching Department, and Economic Department. Until the late 1970s, the door opposite the staircase led to in-house medical and dental surgeries. When the premises were used by the AMU Faculty of History, the rooms housed the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology.
